la vie est belle.

Funny how I unintentionally seem to check in and apologize exactly a month apart for not writing/updating, every month. So, here’s my “I’m sorry!” for January 2012. I sounded so down in the dumps on December 15th, feeling entirely different about the whole thing now. It’s been a whirlwind month, in the best way. 

The last week of December was one of the most social weeks of my entire life and I’m pretty sure I had as much fun as I did Spring Semester of my Senior year of college…so, I entered 2012 with a sore liver, a weak immune system, and some worn out heels; but with a smile on my face. 

To sum it all up: NEW YORK NEW YORK (!!!!!!), ice skating in Central Park, shopping on 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Center glorious tree, Beauty & Essex, real chestnuts (roasting under a streetlight lamp), falling in love with the city that never sleeps all over again (6/1), new eyes, unintentional Sunday Funday, Taco Bus, best guy friends in the world, Debutante Ball, Mandarin Hide bathtub (finally), FSU/ND Bowl Game (VIP tailgates whatsup), NYE, open bars galore, fish fries (and onion rings and hush puppies), starting the new year off with a bang, no new year’s resolutions, Great Wolf Lodge, Leafy Greens, “My Week with Marilyn,” wedding date fun, Christmas tree up halfway through January, “Beauty and the Beast 3D,” happybirthdaytome, missing Paris…

Life is good. HAPPY NEW YEAR, YA’LL!
